Amazon’s Echo Show’s younger “sibling,” the Echo Spot is proving to be able to hold its own. While not ideal for music aficionados or watching long videos, don’t sell this device short.
Right At Home On The Bed Stand
The Echo Spot is reminiscent of a small alarm clock. Small and spherical, it will look at home in your kitchen or on your bedside table. It measures 4.1×3.8×3.6 inches and weighs only 14.8 ounces. The outside is made from a strong matte plastic, and it’s available in black or white.
Don’t Be Deceived By The Screen
The screen measures 2.5 inches in diameter and has a 480×480 inch resolution. The display is bright, colorful, and affords wide viewing angles. That’s perfect for looking at the time, weather, or a calendar overview. You can also view trending headlines and to-do lists well. While the screen is too small for adequate video watching, the Echo Spot works well for video calling.
Easy To Understand, Easy To Use
The settings menu allows you to enable Bluetooth or change WiFi settings. The user is allowed to adjust the brightness levels so that sleeping is easy. Choose from one of twelve face clocks in either analog or digital designs. You can personalize your clock’s wallpaper by uploading a favorite photo. Alexa notifies you when it’s listening with a blue circle appearing on the display. Conversely, a red circle indicates the microphone is muted.
